Yeah, we know its taken a long time, but like slow food, this one has been cooking on a low heat and its delicious. Not too hard to digest, lots of flavour, and packed with Pindrop goodies.We've got traditional Paraguayan music, tinkleles, whacking great harmonies, slide guitar, original songs and even the occasional banjo. Amy's version of Take a Walk on the Wildside will make you smile, as will Sloe Gin - the title track to the Cd. From the kitchen table in Wraxall to village Halls in Bristol and Wales, this CD has some Pindrop magic.

Everything came together on this night at Theatr Mwldan in Cardigan West Wales - and by a bit of luck we recorded the evening straight off the Hall's mixing desk. This is a truly organic recording - no fancy tricks, no weeks of mixing in the studio -and it gives you an vivid experience of an evening out with the Pindrop Band. Favourites with the audience were the all olive oil tin instrumental "Dans y Derrin", the haunting "Ceibwr Bay" sung by Phoebe and written by Piers Partridge, the stunning celtic song "Mile Marobhaisg air a Ghoal" sung unaccompanied by the four voices of the Pindrop female chorus.

A live CD from the first Pindrop Band incarnation featuring a broad range of acoustic offerings, mostly original, taken straight from the mixing desk at Failand Village Hall. Old favourites such as “All the Tea in China” and the stonking “Carousel” are sung by the wonderful Steve Hogg, there’s the ukulele piece “C’est l’uke”.
